When they released in 2006, the black and university blue, they combined three things that I like: the colors black and university blue, and the Air Jordan 5_. Unfortunately, try as I might, I was unable to acquire one on release day, nor in the subsequent years. For people like myself, we’ve always been fans of this colour way great news emerged on the horizon recently that this colorway, after 20 years in cold storage, will finally make its return in the fall of 2026.
At this early junction there are no available images but what we should be presented with is an Air Jordan five that utilises a black nubuck upper with clear netting on the sides and tongue. University blue stitching is seen throughout the upper connecting all of the panels. University Blue should appear at the Jumpman that shows up the rear heel as well as the hue taking care of the inner.
Underneath the aforementioned upper should reside a black middle accent with white teeth as well as a university blue translucent rubber outsole.
As it currently stands the Black and University Blue Air Jordan 5 is slated to begin its second trip around the retail sun in the fall of 2026, will be available in full family sizing, and will carry a 215 USD sticker price.
